Adobe has introduced modern Creative Cloud Video Enhancements that have been available from May 19th 2020. It comes with an array of features including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Character Animator and Premiere Rush. ‘‘Here at Adobe, we’re continually evolving to meet the real world of needs of video professionals and the ways they work,’’ said Francis Crossman, product manager for Premiere Pro, in a recent virtual press briefing just before the formal announcement.
According to Francis, Adobe is shifting to a modern and frequent release program so that it can continue to explore and focus on features that ensure the stability of performance across its tools. While the company is optimizing innovative features, it will also help video production gurus and social creators to maximize creativity whenever they are working. He also added that the company will continue to invest in stability, innovation and exemplary performance.
‘‘We know it is critical to helping video pros do their best work efficiently. So, we’re doubling down on this effort, especially through our more frequent release cycles. Adobe has made meaningful, significant improvements over the past 18 months,’’ he added.
On the Premiere Pro front, he noted that the company launched the productions last month with new tools that are designed for the advancement. In January, it was also organizing different collaborative workflows and film projects and the feedback was extremely positive. In the briefing, Francis further noted that some of the widely sought after Premiere Pro features include After Effects that offers complete and comprehensive cross-platform solutions for Apple ProRes workflows, new ProRes Raw Support in Premiere Pro and other great features that are ideal for quality productions.
ProRes RAW, for instance, is an amazing and ideal acquisition format that is designed and available for Microsoft Windows as well as Apple Mac. Francis Crossman added that ProRes Raw on windows can be downloaded from Apple, but Apple has the only solution for the feature on Windows at present.
